Novelty Construction is a locally owned family business, providing general construction services and specialized concrete in the Tulsa and surrounding areas. The Tulsa metro area is home for the Arnold family as we are working on the fourth generation in Tulsa, OK.

My commercial concrete experience goes back to the early 80’s getting my start locally in Bridge construction. My concrete claim to fame is being a laborer on the crew that poured the entire deck of the Eastbound I 44 bridge over the Arkansas River. Eventually becoming a self-employed concrete contractor in the mid 90’s for the next ten years in the Tulsa area. The two things that intrigue me the most about concrete are its longevity and decorative versatility. There’s something about driving across a bridge or seeing a driveway, a foundation that a house was built on and being able to say I did that house or that sidewalk. It gives one a sense of pride and accomplishment to see it last for so many years. Of course, the decorative aspects are creatively endless, from stamps to stains, countertops, outdoor kitchens, fountains, planters for the garden, to a bench in the park, the list goes on and on.
